DIRECTIONS FOR GETTING HERE
From the North East pick
up the M1 southbound and take junction 29 heading for Chesterfield.
From Chesterfield take the A619 towards Bakewell.
In Bakewell take the A6 towards Buxton.
1 mile out of Bakewell take the turning to Ashford in the Water.
Don't go in to Ashford but continue past for a mile or so.
Take the turn-off signposted for Great Longstone.
Go through the village into Little Longstone and pass the Packhorse
Inn on your right hand side.
Shortly after this you will arrive at a tiny church on your
right.
Directly opposite this is Longstone Barn.
From the North West access
the Manchester area and continue on via Stockport towards New Mills and Chapel en le Frith. Continue on the A623
towards and past the turn off for Tideswell. A mile or so later take the turn off to Wardlow and Monsal Dale. At
the Monsal Head hotel turn left opposite into Little Longstone. The cottage is the first property on your right
hand side.
From the South East access
the M1 northbound and take junction 29 signposted for Chesterfield. Follow the instructions given earlier from
the North East.
From the South West head first for Birmingham and then Derby followed by Ashbourne. Pick up the A515 heading towards Buxton. Take
the road sigposted for Monyash and continue to Bakewell. Take the A6 towards Buxton and 1 mile on take the turn off into Ashford
in the Water.
Don't go in to Ashford but continue past for a mile or so.
Take the turn-off signposted for Great Longstone.
Go through the village into Little Longstone and pass the Packhorse
Inn on your right hand side.
